Description
illeroy & Boch Floral Fantasy figural egg cup with lid in the Purple Hyacinth variation, featuring raised florals and a butterfly detail. This sculptural porcelain piece is designed as a blooming hyacinth, with textured lavender flowers wrapping the egg-shaped cup and a hand-painted butterfly resting on the lid. The green leaf base adds dimension and gives it a strong decorative presence beyond a standard egg cup. Originally intended as a covered egg cup or egg server, it also works well as a small trinket box for rings or keepsakes. The larger 7.25 size and figural form make it more collectible than typical examples. Part of the discontinued Floral Fantasy collection by Villeroy & Boch, known for detailed botanical designs and high-quality European porcelain. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Light surface wear consistent with age. Clean interior. Details: • Height: 7.25 • Diameter: 2.5 • Weight: 9.2 oz • Material: Porcelain • Vintage 1980s–1990s
