This is the fifth printing, published by Phillips Publishers, Inc. of Newton, Massachusetts.  This delightful plastic-comb-bound cookbook contains 128 numbered pages of recipes from the British Isles, China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Scandinavia, and America. Its especially appealing features include beautiful hand-lettered typography, colorful country illustrations, and whimsical black-and-white drawings throughout.  A wonderful addition to a vintage cookbook collection, grandmacore kitchen display, or collection of creative inspiration and ephemera for junk journaling and paper arts. The pages appear complete and are clean and readable. The only handwriting is a former owner’s name on the opening title page.  The white plastic comb binding has several cracked, broken, and missing sections. Because of this damage, the covers and some pages are less securely attached along the spine.
