Vintage Art Deco Dress Clip Pot Metal Early Coro 1930s

Vintage beautifully preserved Art Deco 1930s to 1940s early Coro dress clip. This geometric piece showcases the high-quality craftsmanship of early mid-tier American costume jewelry.  The front features a structural V-shape of deep amethyst square-cut rhinestones, vibrant fuchsia marquise stones and clear baguettes.  On the back the spring-clip mechanism features a beautiful, ornate Art Deco scrollwork pattern. The interior lever is clearly stamped with the single letter R, a coveted maker's hardware mark highly associated with early Coro production.   All stones and faux pearls are intact. The metal setting shows fantastic preservation with minimal tarnishing or aging. The spring-loaded hinge mechanism remains tight, crisp, and fully functional with excellent clamping pressure.
